Navagraha refers to the nine major planetary influences in Hindu astrology: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Tradition says that harmonizing these energies can bring about a more balanced course of life’s events.
Navagraha pooja is to be found in palm leaves very rarely. It is found mainly in the leaves of those who are dealing with difficult karma or blocks, or those who are facing lofty tasks at a high level – whether in the role of healer or master.
This pooja is performed for nine weeks, usually on Sundays, always chanting the mantra associated with that week 108 times (i.e. the first week is the Sun, the second is the Moon, etc.).
I ask for my celestial energies to be balanced. I ask that the cosmic energies, planetary influences, and higher vibrations affecting my life function in the most harmonious, ideal, and mutually supportive way possible.
I ask that the various areas of my life be in harmony with each other and help me live and fulfill my destiny at the highest possible level.
