List of gods: KALI
Releases burdensome energies, anger and judgment, and helps us walk a liberated dance of joy, instead of the one of fear and anxiety.
Cleanses anger, fear, judgment and spiritual pain.
Kali is a powerful goddess of time, transformation, and radical inner change. Her name comes from the word kala, which means black, time, or death. Kali is thus associated with the end of life, overseeing change, death, and the destruction of the old.
Although she appears menacing – wearing a necklace made of enemy heads, holding weapons, and her tongue stuck out – but all of these symbols speak of the death of ego. For this goddess comes to destroy our pride and to dissolve what no longer serves us, not to actually kill or harm someone. She does not kill people, but “demons” – the inner shadows of attachments and self-destructive patterns.
At the same time, she is considered one of the most compassionate forms of the Great Mother, accepting everything, even the “dark” parts of ourselves.
Her main temple is located in Chidambaram, a few hundred meters from the Akashic Temple.
I ask the goddess Kali to help me let go of everything that no longer serves me. With her help, I release what is holding me back – old grievances, beliefs, anger, attachments and self-destructive patterns.
I ask for the dissolution of the illusions of my ego that prevent me from living fully, freely and in love with myself and all beings.
