Releasing karmic burdens and other blocks and obstacles
Mythology & Meaning
Ganesha is one of the most popular Hindu deities. He is revered as the remover of obstacles, the protector of new beginnings, and the one that brings wisdom. People often turn to him before making important decisions or starting a new project.
According to mythology, Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati, and in iconography he is known for his elephant head. In Hindu temples, he is often the first deity to be worshipped – symbolically asking for forgiveness, purification, and the removal of internal obstacles so that one can move forward.
Example of a cleansing prayer
Say a prayer in your own words, summarizing your thoughts about forgiveness. Let go of painful situations, send love to those people and situations in your life that are causing you difficulties or complications. Sort out all the threads – untangle what has been tangled up until now.
Ask for the cleansing and release of karmic blocks, obstacles and blockages related to your past lives, as well as to your past and present. State specifically what difficulties you are experiencing and ask for help in resolving and releasing them.
